  • What cameras do you use?
For video production, in house we currently use a Sony FX3 Cinema Camera with a range of Sony G-Master lenses. We chose this camera as it's a great option for being small enough that's it's portable for any project size and secondly it packs enough punch that it's excepted by most major streaming networks including Netflix which has some of the strictest camera requirement. The rest of our in house cameras are all Sony systems as well apart from our old trusty Canon which we started our business with. Renting is a very common practise in the production world and we very ofter hire additional cameras for larger scale projects. We're also very luck that we have a great relationship with our rental house and we're able to get great prices for you! We are ALWAYS upgrading & investing in new equipment too!
  • Will you make me viral on social media?
The short answer. No, probably not. At ICMG we're strongly against aiming for just big numbers that don't lead to anything. Trust us when we say we've done the research & testing ourselves. Big view counts do not lead to sales & conversions. What we do focus on is quality views, hitting the right audience for your brand that's actually going to convert into sales for you. For us it's better that we get 1,000 views and 10 sales then 1,000,000 views and ZERO sales (Trust me this has happened!) Becoming viral as a business requires going against our ethos, you need to follow silly embarrassing trends that will generate the numbers but at the cost of your brands image and reputation. Chasing trends isn't a viable strategy for the long term either. We keep your brand image looking exactly how you want it while driving sales and conversions, not the view counter.
  • How much does video production cost?
Video production is a very broad term and every project is different! That's why we don't display prices directly on our website as we quote each project based on the clients needs. We are very transparent with our day rates & prices and only build up a quote to ensure the project is delivered to the highest standard. We're able to accommodate anything from a small one man crew just capturing some chill content all the way to large full scale production crews with our huge network of professional contacts. Quotes are completely free and zero obligations to go any further. How we work, once you get in contact with our team, we'll arrange a call with one of our sales team & one of production managers to chat through your project & exceptions. We will often ask you what budget you're working with not as an ideal way for us to boost your quote up higher but to allow us to give you options in the pricing range. We are extremely competitive on pricing and always try our best to accommodate your budget.
  • What deposits do you require?
We split our payment process into two. The first is what we call a pre-production payment, this is required before we start the project, this is usually 50% of the projects total, it's enough to cover all the crews wages & any additional extras your project may require up until this point. The second payment is the post-production payment, every project comes with two rounds of revisions (Subject to project terms) once we've completed the first versions of your projects we will issue an invoice for the remaining amount of your bill. After that we will complete any further revisions or changes!
  • Can I get a free quote for my project?
Yes! All our quotes are completely free. We will always try and have a pre project call with you to hear all about your exciting project and how we can best accommodate your needs. After that we'll issue you with a free price break down & what services you'll receive from us. You can then go-ahead with your project or simply decline and we won't hassle you for any reason why!
